Student Visa for Switzerland
A visa is required only for students who come from non-European countries or if you plan on studying more than 90 days in Switzerland. All visa applications shall be made at the Swiss Diplomatic Representation of your country, before you enter in Switzerland. The Diplomatic Representation will provide you with all necessary informations, including application forms.
You will be asked to provide the following documents:
- a letter explaining your reasons for stydying in Switzerland
- a letter stating that you will leave Switzerland at the end of your cursus, with date and signature.
- a photocopy of your passeport
- 2 ID photos
- a proof o sufficient financial funds to cover costs of living during your stay in Switzerland.
- a certificate of your enrolment at the Institut Losanna
A student permit may be obtained only if the student is enrolled for a course of 20 hours per week.
On your arrival in Switzerland, you have to contract a health and accident insurance.
